What are the options?
Blowers, air diffusers and compressors are the most common options. Unfortunately, installation, maintenance and overall cost of these systems can become excessive; after 2 or 3 years, energy consumption and maintenance costs can largely surpass the initial purchase cost. And what is there to say about the impacts of introducing heated gases during heat waves? The negative impacts can greatly surpass the positive impacts because of the reduced global oxygen content in hot liquids and the greater potential of algae blooms and aquatic plant overgrowth.
Since 1999, Eco-Guide International (CANADA) and TechSub Industries Environment (EUROPE) have joined their efforts in developing and producing autonomous water circulators and aerators that are not only efficient but also ecological, following today’s sustainable development path by reducing greenhouse effect gases.

The AQUAGO concept is inspired by the natural processes found in nature

Nature works wonders…and it’s by observing and understanding the natural processes of digestion and auto-regulationthat we find sustainable solutions to today’s problems such as eutrophication of natural and artificial water bodies as well as other water pollution problems. Ultimately, these problems lead to an over-consumption of oxygen by scavengers and decomposers which in turn leadto the mortality of fish and most of the aquatic organisms. This results in a partial or complete imbalance of the aquatic ecosystem, where algae, aquatic plants, and ultimately organic detritus accumulates in the water bodysince they are no longer consumed by living organisms; hence they are no longer part of the active and balanced aquatic food chain(aerobic bacteria, aquatic invertebrates, aquatic insects, fish, etc…). This can be observed on natural lakes and ponds, reservoirs, sewage lagoons (fresh, brackish and sea water) since they all qualify as active aquatic ecosystems.
